Joe Thomas

Enthusiasm and hard work have paid off in a steady climb up the tournament ladder for Joe Thomas since the Cincinnati native won the Ohio State B.A.S.S. Federation Championship in 1980. The years that followed led this young man from the pursuit of a Fisheries Biology degree to prominent status on both the B.A.S.S. and the FLW Tournament Trail. Joe’s accomplishments as a professional angler do not end on the tournament trail. As an avid hunter, Joe spends all his free time traveling the country in pursuit of trophy big game and whitetail.

Jeff James

Jeff was born and raised in Western Kentucky and is a successful business man in the river shipping industry. Hunting runs through his veins so when Jeff is not in his daytime office, he can be found in a nearby stand. Although big whitetails are Jeff’s passion, he is a believer in land and game management and the results are evident: in 2010 Jeff harvested three whitetail bucks over 170″ on camera. As the newcomer to High Places, Jeff is certainly setting the bar on big buck hunting. But, Jeff is not limited to just whitetails – mule deer and elk hunting are also on his list of favorites. When he is not in a stand or behind a desk, he enjoys watching MMA, doing jiu-jisu and showing his kids the great outdoors.

Phil Phillips

Phil began bowhunting for small game at the age of 10. In the past 30 years, he has taken over 200 big game animals and 38 different species form around the world. Phil has been a professional guide and outfitter for the past 28 years. In 1992, SCI honored Phil with the North American bowhunting outfitter of the year award. He is a life member of the NRE, North American Hunting Club and Safari Club International.
